Scream Queens is a satirical series that blends slasher scares and comedy. It spans two seasons, each season has its own storyline but the characters interconnect. It is a great series to watch for a girls movie night. Each has its own twist and the killer reveal at the end of every season makes it even more interesting. The plot keeps you at the edge of your seat. It’s outrageous humor and gory slasher moments are even more camp. It’s ridiculous storylines leave your ribs hurting.
At Wallace University, the secrets of an elite sorority, Kappa Tau are coming out through gruesome murders happening around the campus. The ruthless leader Chanel Oberlin is upset after the dean forces them to accept any pledges including outcasts. The series of murder are committed by a masked killer in a red devil costume. The murders reveal a dark incident that happened in the past involving a dead sorority sister an a dead body. The arrogance and selfishness of the sororities is exposed in an absurd fashion.
Season two takes place in a bizarre medical institute run by Dr. Munsch. The Chanels are hired to work at the hospital that is filled with strange cases and weirder personality. Deaths and murders start to occur but this time they are committed by a killer in a different kind of mask. The deaths are over the top and different each time.
